Mojtaba Khamenei was appointed Supreme Leader at the start of the Iran war, after his father Ali Khamenei was killed by US-Israeli strikes. Other members of his family were also killed – including his wife and son. But Mojtaba has not been seen or heard since – raising questions as to whether he is incapacitated or even dead.
